Monday TV

Forget your fixation on Heroes (which is fine and probably getting better). Monday night is all about 24. Best TV show ever.

With shows like 24, Grey's Anatomy, House, L&O: SVU, and Ugly Betty on the DVR, who needs movies?

Forget that, Monday is about 24 AND Heroes.

Also, wow. You watch like the exact same lineup as I do, except I only watch SVU in syndication, and I would add Standoff and American Idol, because I am weak.

I am also an Idol addict... admitting it is the first step.

I believe that my DVR records the first-run episodes of SVU, but I can't distinguish them from the hundreds of syndicated episodes that record every week.

Also, I neglected to put Scrubs on the list... can't forget Scrubs... So that makes three medical related shows... and yet, there is very little actual medicine in any of them (which is just fine).

... Ugly Betty?

Don't knock it until you've tried it... add it to your TiVo list for at leas one episode... I think you will be quite surprised.

I'm giving 24 another try. I liked the first season for a while, until the glaring plot inconsistencies started to piss me off, as well as his daughter, who desperately needed to die in some horrible fashion. Honestly, she was one o the most useless characters I have ever had the misfortune to watch. Hard to get worked up about her dad trying to save her, when I'm thinking "Go, mountain lion, go!"

The last season was actually much better than either of the two before it. The relative lack of Spawn of Kiefer in last season, of course, may or may not be coincidental.

This season's shaping up pretty good so far. The Big Reveal Yesterday certainly triggered my Holy Shit! button.

I'm also interested because this will be my first time watching the show as it airs - all the others I've watched on DVD. I'm curious to see if the frustration of waiting will be too much for me.
